Beautiful Thing

The Guthmiller's were one of my first clients. I always appreciate seeing them. Even-more-so, I've enjoyed watching their family grow.

I remember seeing Gracie for the first time. I recall how shy she was, now there is just a hint of shyness. The rest of the time she is smiling and giggling. WOW what a cute little girl with bouncing curls. Click here for the link to one of their first blogs.

I recall taking Rachel's pictures when she was pregnant with Wade, now is running all over the place and can't find enough dirt and water to get into. What a beautiful thing the Guthmiller's have goin' on. See you soon.

God Bless You

Emerson temperament is so calm. She just sits and watches patiently. Not much could bother her that day, once in awhile she would crack a smile. Other times she would suck in her cheeks, pucker her lips, and gaze at me with a peaceful look. However, these pictures were taken last fall, I'm sure much has changed in the Meiergerd household. She is probably whirlwind around the house that barely has time to sit. If so is the case, God bless you Meiergerd's!

If I Had Kids...

Kaden's one busy toddler, not to mention smart! He's nearly mastered the ABC's. Now if he could just make it through that glass door! :) (inside joke with his mama) He has the cutest little features to his baby blues, long eyelashes, chubby little lips and tiny little teeth, and flame shoes! The look on his face is always inquisitive and wanting to explore. If I had kids, I'd want one like him. I just want to squeeze him!

There's No Place Like Home

The Meyer family calls Pilger their home. After this shoot, I believe there is no better place to take pictures. The old "rusticness" of the town's run-down buildings, colorful brick walls, authentic dirt roads give the pictures a great feel. I've always wanted to do a "couch series" without anyone thinking I was nuts, I knew this was the perfect family for it. Beautiful color, beautiful family. It's in the genes.

Cold Cal Just Keeps Smilin'

Fall was in full swing. The color was wonderful. The only thing not on our side that day was the weather. The pictures don't show it; but it was a chilling, windy day. Cal was a trooper. He gave a cute little shiver up his spine at first, but from then on it was all beaming expressions. It may have been the shortest session I've had, but I had some good smile material to work with.

Jersey Girl

Baby Jersey is such a cute little peanut. While the focus was on her, brother Mason seemed to steal the camera every once in awhile. How could you not with those eyes, right?! He'll make you say "yes" to staying up late and having carrots and ranch for breakfast. ;) If I'm not mistaken, precious little Jersey will do the same. What a sweet little family, I'm anxious to watch them grow.

Time Flies

As I write this, I realize how much Kinley has already changed. We are gearing up to do her six month pictures in the next few weeks. How time flies the first year. (And how much they change!) I can't wait to document it for their cute little family. See you soon Miss K!

Wear Your Pretties-It's Picture Time!

Jordyn and Dalton are a double dose of cuteness. Dalton's dark eyes and Jordan's crystal clear blues will get you at first look. Jordyn asked me, "Why are you wearing your pretties?"...pointing at my ring. I replied, "Because I'm here to see you!" Apparently she was wearing her "pretties" for me too - nails painted, shiny ring on, and shades in the car. Looking forward to seeing this duo again soon.
