Lily Taylor

The name "Lily Taylor" always sounded like a famous person to me. Being only 14 months, we have yet to know if she'll turn out to be a famous person or not. However, with that million dollar smile of hers, I know she would fit in pretty good in Hollywood. Note to self: The little star does not like being in baskets. :)

A+ Parenting

Picture time can be nerve-racking for many families. What clothes to wear? Is the weather going to cooperate? Can everyone be dressed and ready on time? And most importantly, are the kids going to cooperate?

Meeting with so many families, I see a variety of parenting styles. The Liakos family is one to model off of. Their children are very calm and well mannered; I believe that stems from Trish & Andy's serene way of parenting. They never seem to get "worked up" and are always using a calm voice. It amazing what tone of voice inflicts on the children. Not only did their beautiful daughters follow suit with calmness, but it made my time with them more relaxing and enjoyable as well.

Runnin' Away with My Heart

The Kruse girls are movers n' shakers. Wide open spaces seem to entertain them. I think they would have run for miles if we let them. Running after them seemed like a daunting task for mom, dad, and I. But they were so darn adorable in their hot pink skirts, they were runnin away with my heart that the same time. :) Thanks again Kruse family.

New Family

I'm happy to announce I'm newly married to the coolest dude on the block. I married into a pretty good family as well. There's much to be thankful for. His mom asked me to take some family pictures, and I happily obliged on this beautiful fall day bursting with fall color. Here's a peak at the new fam...

Cute Little Group

What can I say about the Campbell's... you don't have to look twice to tell they are a pretty cute little family! I adore how much Brody looks like his mama and how much Teagan resembles her dad. Just a cute little mix of smiles and beautiful features. I looking forward to a beautiful August with the Campbell family!

We Couldn't Be Happier...

One of the reasons why I like being a wedding photographer is that sometimes I'm like a mouse in the church. I hear and see things that most guests don't. On the day of Chris and Krista's wedding, I recall seeing Chris walking Krista's mom down the aisle. They walked right by me and I recall her mom telling Chris, "We couldn't be happier." Coupled with the smile on her face and the softness in her voice, brought a tear to my eye. Guess you just had to be there, guess you just have to be a mouse in the church. :)

Little Miss Smiler

Check out this smiley little gal! Not only do I love her smile, but I adore the hair accessories her mama made. She couldn't find the right color of bow, so she made one...I like her style!

Pizzazz

Kendra has what I call a lot of pizzazz. Spunk. Charm. Style. Smarts. Flair. And definitely beauty. The world is just a more colorful place with her in it.

Hot and Steamy

July 17th was a hot and steamy day. This weather sometimes causes people to get a little cranky with one another. This wasn't the case with Jade and Andrew. They powered through these engagement pictures like it was a pleasant 72 degree day. Here's to hoping they treat everyday like they did that day. Best wishes!
